Playing Bingo

The Host

After the host has configured a session with games, the host will simply go to their sessions screen and click start to begin the session.
This will take the host to the caller screen for the first game.

The caller screen has the following components:

  • The call board. The call board displays all the numbers to be called with each row of the board representing each letter column. When the host clicks "Call", a number is randomly selected and announced to all the players. The number will 'illuminate' on the call board.
  • Call history. These are the 6 bingo balls under the call board showing the last 6 calls made.
  • The pattern display. A display of the pattern being played will be shown rotating through all the possible variations of the pattern.
  • Chat button - opens a chat window to send and receive messages with the players.
  • Call button - initiates a call by drawing a random number and announcing it to all the players.
  • Auto call configuration: At the host's option, they can enter an interval and allow MyBingo Host to make random calls at the interval provided.

  • Verify button - Use this button to manually verify printed cards. Click the button and enter the card serial number to check for a winner. Note: Only cards printed by MyBingo Host can be used for paper play.
  • Notify button - Notifies all players of the winner(s).
  • Close button - Closes the game, if there is another game configured, this will start the new game for the caller and automatically notify and take players to the next game.
    If there are no further games it closes the session and sends the players to a closed screen, the host will be taken to their session screen.

Players

Players can access the game once started by navigating to the MyBingoHost.net website and entering the invitation code configured by the Host when setting up the session, or the host may provide the players with a direct link.

Player View

Once a player clicks the link they will be asked to login. Players can join the game in one of three ways:

  • Create and Account - players can register an account.
  • Login with Facebook - players can link their Facebook account to login. MyBingo Host does not post or use the Facebook login for any other purpose than to log them in.
  • Join as Guest - Players do not need to create any account, and can choose to join as a guest. They will be prompted for a Player name when doing so.

After the player logs in, they will be taken directly into the game. Their view will depend upon the configuration of the session.

If the session is not configured for live video, the players will see the following components:

  • The call board. The call board displays all the numbers to be called with each row of the board representing each letter column. When the host clicks "Call", a number is randomly selected and announced to all the players. The number will 'illuminate' on the call board.
  • Call history. These are the 6 bingo balls under the call board showing the last 6 calls made.
  • Bingo cards - The player will be automatically issued a bingo card for play. Internet player can click or tap the numbers as they are called to mark the spot and track their matches towards the pattern.
  • The pattern display. A display of the pattern being played will be shown rotating through all the possible variations of the pattern.
  • Chat button - opens a chat window to send and receive messages with the players.
  • Bingo button - when a player believes they have bingo they click the bingo button to call bingo and notfiy all players and host of the bingo. A visual of the winning card will be displayed for all with the winning pattern highlighted.
    If the player does not have a valid bingo, only the player will be notified that the bingo is not valid. In either case, MyBingo Host will display the players cards with the potential marks.
